Corsair HS50 Pro
padding/ skin whatever its called
However, after only three months of occasional use (once or twice in 2-3 days), I noticed that the ear cups were starting to come off, and the skins (or padding) of the cups were deteriorating. The metal parts of the headset were also losing their colour. To add to my woes, the volume control scroller was acting up on its own, resulting in the headset producing sound only in one ear or no sound at all. I had to move and adjust the scroller every time to fix the issue.
look at its colour
Given the price of the headset, I was quite disappointed. In comparison, my previous headset, which cost only 10 USD, lasted for two years without any issues with its ear cups.
I don't know if I was unlucky or if this is a common problem with the Corsair HS50 Pro. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend this headset for long-term use. While the sound quality and comfort are decent, the durability and longevity of the product leave much to be desired.
While I experienced issues with the durability and longevity of the product, I must acknowledge that the sound quality of the headset is good. The audio experience was clear, and I enjoyed using it for gaming and listening to music.
However, based on the problems I encountered with the ear cups and volume control, I still cannot recommend this headset for long-term use. If you're looking for a headset primarily for audio quality, the Corsair HS50 Pro may be a good option. But if you're looking for a durable and long-lasting product, you may want to consider other models.
Scroller doesn't have any damage at all but doesn't work properly
If you're in the market for a headset, I suggest looking at other models rather than the Corsair HS50 Pro. While Corsair is a good brand, this particular model may not be the best option for your needs.
